THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION

We offer a range of therapeutic services, including one-on-one individual therapy for personal development, couples therapy to enhance communication and resolve issues, and family therapy to manage unique challenges. Specialized in child and adolescent interventions, we also provide group therapy for collective support and healing. Our goal is to deliver diverse therapeutic options tailored to the needs of our clients, ensuring professional support and guidance for all individuals, couples, families, and young clients.

THE FAMILY SUCCESS PROGRAM

Our center helps manage emotional dysregulation which often results in angry outbursts, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm. We work with you to develop tailored skills for coping with intense emotions and offer strategies for relief and healthier emotional management. This is a 12 step program that walks families through the systematic implementation of TBRI.

ADVOCACY

Being an advocate promotes and defends another person’s rights, needs, and interests. You may need an advocate if needs are not being met, or you are being denied rights. Being an advocate involves understanding issues, thinking about children’s needs and presenting solutions. At the Papillion Center we advocate for children and families dealing with FASD and trauma in our community and in Ky.

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH

Our facility offers extensive mental health care, led by an in-house psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner proficient in precise prescription management, guaranteeing personalized medication plans for each client's mental well-being. Our focus on careful medication oversight is central to your treatment and overall health support. We even have translators so we offer this to everyone!

SUPPORT GROUPS

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide quality services and therapies that will enhance the lives of clients who seek our assistance. We specialize in those affected by trauma, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), and attachment issues by addressing each of the areas of need: social skills, emotional intervention, therapeutic parenting skills, and nutritional and neurochemistry impact.

WHO WE ARE

The Papillion Center is a faith-based, nonprofit counseling and therapy center, specializing in wraparound service provision for kids and families. We operate on a community-funded sliding fee scale so everyone can afford services.

Counseling

We offer individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, child and adolescent therapy, and group therapy for a wide range of needs.

Behavioral Management

Emotional dysregulation may cause angry outbursts, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and other self-damaging behaviors. We work with you to develop skills and strategies for these feelings.

Speech-Language Pathology

Our speech language pathologist can help prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.
